Scarlet Laurel Music

The question I faced when deciding whether or not to continue playing piano was simple: is music supposed to be a technical exercise or a personal experience? Sometimes people said the former. But music is so much more fun when you can change people's lives by hitting a hammer on a string. That's what fuels my composing and my piano playing today.
